Postby theuserbl » Fri May 14, 2010 5:31 pm

How to checkout the SVN? :?:

For example RSyntaxTextArea can be online browsed with
http://svn.fifesoft.com/viewvc-1.0.5/bin/cgi/viewvc.cgi/?root=RSyntaxTextArea
and
http://svn.fifesoft.com/svn/RSyntaxTextArea/

But how to download all the files?
I tried out
svn checkout http://svn.fifesoft.com/svn
svn checkout http://svn.fifesoft.com/svn/
svn checkout http://svn.fifesoft.com/svn/ RSyntaxTextArea
svn checkout http://fifesoft.com/svn/
svn checkout http://fifesoft.com/svn/ RSyntaxTextArea

It all don't work. :(
Whats the command to checkout your SVN ?

Each RSTA subproject has its own trunk, so they can be versioned individually. This makes it pretty inconvenient to check out these guys from the command line, but it is the way it is. If you use Eclipse, using an integrated SVN client like Subclipse is a great help.

Anyway, here's how you can grab each project from the command line:

Code: Select all
svn co http://svn.fifesoft.com/svn/RSyntaxTextArea/RSyntaxTextArea/trunk RSyntaxTextArea
svn co http://svn.fifesoft.com/svn/RSyntaxTextArea/AutoComplete/trunk AutoComplete
svn co http://svn.fifesoft.com/svn/RSyntaxTextArea/SpellChecker/trunk SpellChecker
svn co http://svn.fifesoft.com/svn/RSyntaxTextArea/RSTALanguageSupport/trunk RSTALanguageSupport
svn co http://svn.fifesoft.com/svn/RSyntaxTextArea/TokenMakerMaker/trunk TokenMakerMaker

Everything relies on RSyntaxTextArea, so you must check at least that one out.
RSTALanguageSupport depends on both RSyntaxTextArea and AutoComplete.

Hope this helps!
