RText's Toolbar

Postby pideltaepsilon » Mon Oct 28, 2013 7:49 pm

Hi Robert,

I'm working with a group that is creating an intro-student friendly IDE using RText as its base. We've spent quite some time reviewing the source code and are stuck on where any code for RText's toolbar (the buttons across the top - new, open, save, save-all, etc.) is located (classes and interfaces, defaults, icon pngs or jpegs, direct implementation, etc.). If we want to change what shows up in that toolbar when RText is opened, where in the source code should we look?

Many thanks,
Sydney

Check out the org.fife.rtext.RTextMenuBar class. Also note that, even though I'm pointing directly into Git, that what's in Git at the moment might not be the most stable. :) But that particular class hasn't changed in awhile.
