Hi Lis,

You can use "Open in new window..." in the File menu.

I believe the shortcut for this is Ctrl+I, but you can configure it to whatever you want in the Options menu by going to Edit -> Options -> Shortcuts, and changing the value there.

Ah, ok but thats not really what i wanted to know :D.
I wanted to know
How can i configure rtext to open any file in a new window.
For example:
If i open a file it gets its own window.
If i open another file (from the explorer or finder) the file is opened in the same window.
But i want the new file to be opened in a new window.

Greet Lis.

Do you mean you want RText to never open a new tab, just to always open a new window? You currently cannot do that, but you can make a feature request for it and I can add it as soon as I can - http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php. That shouldn't be too hard to add.

As a short-term fix, in the upcoming release I can make the right-click popup menu in the File System Tree have an "Open in New Window" item. Not a complete solution, but maybe ease the pain a little? :D
