Add Javadoc

Postby mr.thiagoo » Thu Oct 06, 2011 9:51 pm

First I want to congratulate you for the component that is very good. I'm currently implementing this component in a Java development framework and I would like to know how to include the JavaDoc of my own classes (framework) in autocompletion class.

Tks!

I'm glad you find RSTA useful! As for adding your own Javadoc, the library only currently supports loading documentation from a source zip (or directory), not from Javadoc per-se (I haven't implemented a Javadoc HTML parser). Here's an example of loading doc from a source zip:

Code: Select all
import org.fife.rsta.ac.*:
import org.fife.rsta.ac.java.*;

// ...

JarInfo info = new JarInfo(new File("myLib.jar"));
info.setSourceLocation(new File("myLibSource.zip"));
JavaLanguageSupport jls = (JavaLanguageSupport)LanguageSupportFactory.getSupportFor(SyntaxConstants.SYNTAX_STYLE_JAVA);
jls.getJarManager().addJar(info);

Does that help?
