Oh sorry, I completely misunderstood. I don't know if it's a good idea to allow the tab key in shortcuts, as it'll mess with keyboard accessibility. Further, I'm not sure that it eill even work, since I think Swing's focus subsystem will supercede an individual component's shortcuts eithout special code.

I'll give it a shot though and see what happens.

What dialog are you in? The "Next/Previous Document" actions are only available when in the main application window. You mentioned the "OK" button, so it sounds like you're in a dialog somewhere.

i go into
edit>options>shortcuts
I want
Next document: from "Ctrl + Page Down" to "Ctrl + Tab"
and
Previous document: from "Ctrl + Page Up" to "Ctrl + Shift + Tab"

The tab key is traditionally used to cycle through focused components, so you just must be seeing that behavior. Can you copy and paste the code snippet you are adding to try to add the new shortcut? Here is some good documentation on key bindings in Swing.

Hi! I want set a shortcut "CTRL + TAB" but when hit TAB the focus goes to button OK of dialog window.
What can i do? I searched a file where the shortcut is saved but i didn't find it
