Hi Andreas,

Unfortunately, that documentation has not yet been written. For now, your best bet is to check out the source from SVN and see how folding is implemented for existing languages. The important stuff is all in the folding package. You have to create and register your FoldParser class with the singleton FoldParserManager.

java code:

FoldParserManager.get().addFoldParserMapping("text/mylanguage", new MyFoldParser());


Check out the XmlFoldParser class for a relatively simple example of a fold parser implementation.
