If a BasicCompletion's getShortDescription() method returns an HTML snippet, it is rendered in a tool tip-like documentation window along-side the completion choices, similar to populare IDE's. For this to happen though, you have to call setShowDescWindow(true) on your AutoCompletion instance first.

This isn't actually a FocusableTip, but it's essentially the same thing - a popup window that the user can click in, move around, and copy/paste from.

Tooltip with Autocomplete

How do I use a FocusableToolTip with autocompletion? I'm using BasicCompletion's right now, so is there any way to attach the tooltip to a BasicCompletion or do have to use another kind of Completion?
