Great work! Thank you for a terrific component! I’m using it to create an offline wiki editor for my employer’s wiki. I took a stab at implementing a wikipedia token maker. Failed. I’m sure you are in demand for many tasks, but if you have time perhaps you could whip up simple token maker that highlights section/headline entries (i.e. lines that start with multiple ‘=’ – ==, ===, ====, =====) that would be HUGE help to me. I have not been able to wrap my brain around jflex. Thanks again.

  2. I am currently integrating RSyntaxTextArea into a product that previously had a horrible homebrew syntax colouring text editor. I am really impressed with it so far – speedy, reliable, reasonably easy to use.

The interesting part will be to create two new syntax colouring schemes for two scripting languages (both homebrew).

So, thank you very much for this great library!

As far as adding custom syntax schemes, expect a side project started up soon that should greatly help with that! In the meantime, you can check out this thread on the forums for excellent advice on how to implement one “manually:”
